Trellising is a project aiming to support Italian ethical winemakers in finding new opportunities abroad. We are not talking about natural wines.

I talk about living and evocative wines, simply the finest bottles created by small, often family-run, wineries – aiming to regenerate natural resources, rather than depleting them.

The wineries have been personally selected by me, Susanna Camerlengo, agricultural ecologist with almost twenty years of experience in the organic food and wine business, between Italy and Denmark, spanning from farming and winemaking to sales.

Trellising is not an import/distribution, but just a mediation service: a bridge between prospect importers and winemakers who have succeeded in matching environmental health with product quality. As long as there is an ethical basis for both parties: fair prices for producers, yet affordable for importers.

How do we manage?

  • no extra charges over the export prices decided by the wineries;
  • no minimum order requirements;
  • groupages: new importers can test our wines by ordering one blended pallet featuring their preferred selection of bottles;
  • special rates upon the order of 1+ pallet from a single winemaker.

Wines for every palate.

The catalogue is rich and varied, currently featuring more than 15 different bottles from lesser-known terroirs, like Valdarno Fiorentino (Tuscany), Emilia Romagna and Valle Peligna (Abruzzo). Some of these wines are already included in the wine list of world-renown restaurants, some others are the delight of laid-back wine bars.

From light and juicy still wines, to exquisite bubbles (even in the red version!) to bold and deep reds: there is a sip for everyone.
